Dog in the Yard is a podcast hosted by Peter "Pistol Pete" Torres from the famed Terror Squad in New York City. Pete spent 17 years in jail for a crime he didn't commit. During that time became known as the "King of Rikers Island".His show focuses on helping youth by and sharing the stories of those who have been incarcerated and how it effected their lives. Petes keeps it real 100% with his interviews both with famous celebs that have done time and ordinary people. These stories are about the challenges of everyday life behind bars and how the broken judicial system make sit virtually impossible to rehabilitate and get out. Pete is trying to pay it forward by having listeners understand crime is not answer and get the youth of America to avoid the road they took and walk a different path.

Yeah this one was different😮💨🤲🏽 The vibe was crazy. There was a sense of Latino Pride and embracing our Afrikan identity and how that was facilitated in the process of captivity in the prison slave industrial complex. I salute both these Brothas for the atrocities they endured and overcame in a racist justice system in a country that never loved us or allowed us to truly love ourselves!!
